East Bengal team train at Al-Hareeri Stadium

Kingfisher East Bengal had one training session yesterday on artificial turf on Erbil's training ground. There was a large crowd at the ground to watch the club training session.

 

Mr Idris Bajrani the son of Mr Nizar Bajrani the Prime Minister of Kurdistan (Iraq) personally greeted the club and assured that he would be present on the day of the match and cheer East Bengal wearing the club colours. Mr Nizar Bajrani is the Patron of Erbil S.C.

 

Weather is fine with temperature around mid twenties. East Bengal will practice today from 6 pm at the main stadium. The match will kick off at 6pm local time and would be telecast LIVE by Iraq TV. A large crowd is expected at the stadium which has natural turf.

 

Pre-Match Conference

 

Nezar Mahrous (COACH - Erbil S.C) - We are expecting a tough match and as our rivals have lost three matches and will go all out to win the match. Moreover although my team is good but the right combination is not cllicking.

 

Ranjan Chaudhury (Assistant Coach – Kingfisher East Bengal) -  We will get more international experience. We are expecting a tough match but will go all out for victory.

 

Sanju Pradhan (Kingfisher East Bengal Captain) - We will play for a win as any loss will throw us out of the competition.
